Mr. Farooq Sultan is one of the co-founding directors of FOAR and has over four decades worth of experience. Mr. Sultan attended Institute of Engineers of Pakistan and
graduated in 1972 as a mechanical engineer. Early on in his career he worked as part of the management team of ESSO Eastern, Inc., a member company of Exxon Group
USA. He then further honed his skills as an engineer and a manager by working for a renowned construction group in the United Arab Emirates. Finally it was in early 1986
that he and Mr. Umer Javaid (now retired) decided to set up their own engineering factory in Pakistan. This initial effort would eventually lead to FOAR Innovative Technologies
(Pvt.) Ltd. as it is today.
Omar F. Sultan, Director
Mr. Omar F. Sultan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA, Economics and also has an MBA, Engineering Management from Texas State University. Prior
to joining FOAR Innovative Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. in 2010, he worked at Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (now Acelity), one of the leading medical device manufacturers in the United
States. He has extensive experience in the fields of project finance, pricing, contracts, and sales force compensation.
