Coal Tar Enamel
During the last 100 years coal tar
enamel coatings have been used
on more in-service pipelines than
any other coating in the world.
Millions of miles of pipeline have
been shielded from corrosion.
Due to the inert nature of coal tar
the underlying steel surface is
protected from root growth, soil
bacteria, moisture, salts, acids,
and extreme temperature.
Synthetic Primer
Synthetic primer creates a bond
between the surface of a steel
pipeline and the protective layer
of coal tar enamel.
